No Time to Eat a Healthy Meal or Snack?

It amazes me that we are all so busy this day and age.  It seems like not so long ago we had weekly family dinners that consisted of hearty and mostly healthy home cooked meals.  But not, with the kids and grand kids being involved in so many different sports and after school activities and both spouses working at least one job, volunteering, mentoring, etc, etc, etc.  We are just too busy and the fast food industry has taken note of that fact, too.  Is it any wonder that even the smallest of towns have at least one fast food chain restaurant now?  I recently drove thru a mid Michigan community that is of medium population that had two McDonalds on the same side of the street about a half-mile apart.   ...Read More
